Thistle Stratford upon Avon Hotel
Stratford upon Avon’s most famous son is, of course, William Shakespeare. Almost 400 years after the curtain fell on his unique and prodigious life, he still attracts people from across the world to this historic Warwickshire town.
With 63 bedrooms including executive rooms and suites, and 65 car parking spaces available at an additional charge, the Regency-style Thistle Stratford upon Avon is an ideal base for exploring The Bard’s birthplace. Perhaps inspired by our proximity to the world-famous Shakespeare and Swan theatres (currently closed for redevelopment), we’ve made changes to our bedrooms, bathrooms, bars and restaurants we can best describe as-well, dramatic. Same goes for our four meeting rooms, the largest of which seats 50 theatre-style naturally.
For many of our guests, Will and his complete works are Stratford’s main attractions. But there’s plenty here for those without a longing for Lear, or hankering for Hamlet. Nearby Warwick Castle is one of the finest in England, and the beautiful Cotswolds are a short drive away. And whether you’re with us for business or pleasure, we’re confident you’ll find everything just as you like it.
